Rachel Melis gives visual form to metaphors from literature, environmental movements, her family, and nature. She focuses on print, public art, and book projects to reach audiences of varied backgrounds and ages. Rachel's work has been chosen for numerous national and international exhibitions, collections, and publications. She teaches printmaking, book arts, illustration and design as an Associate Professor of Art at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Minnesota. Rachel earned her MFA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
